We all need REST and a little time to slow down on a regular basis. The challenge I hear most often is “I don’t have the time”, and it’s critical to how our mind and body heal to remain healthy and vibrant.
So, this is my invitation for you to join Transitions Yoga; A Restorative & Yin yoga class to celebrate the beginning of Fall, enjoyed from the comfort of your own home. Class will be 75 minutes long. Dress comfortably, we will be moving in and out of poses mostly sitting and lying down on the floor. You may like to have a couple of blankets, pillows, bolster and eye pillow on hand. Maybe even a cup of tea and light a candle to make it as special as you like.
Restorative & Yin yoga work deeply into our body with passive, longer-held poses. This practice is for everyone because it compliments and supports your nervous system and improves the energy flow of chi (life force) in the organs. When we REST we are able to target the deepest tissues of the body, our connective tissues – ligaments, joints, bones, along with the deep fascial networks of the body and the meridians. It’s the ultimate resting practice to slow down and pause as you transition in and out of poses and, even more so, as you transition from one season to another.
Calm the mind, heal the body!
This class will not be recorded. Your camera may be off or on, audio remains off and my screen pinned to speaker view. No yoga experience required.
