Living a lifestyle that is rooted in rest is so much more than a good night’s sleep. It’s the vital ingredient for women to live in harmony with their natural rhythms, seasons and transitions.
During this time Cathy will share the benefits of a restorative yoga practice and then lovingly guide you into a safe, calming, and peaceful rest with yoga Nidra.
Yoga Nidra is a dreamy and luxurious “yogic nap” where you are guided into a “sleep state”, while experiencing deep relaxation. During this deep rest you will be traveling through the physical body into the more and more subtle, nonphysical layers. The benefits of yoga Nidra are deeply healing to your physical and emotional body, melting away stress and tension.
This in-person event is centered around why rest is the ideal remedy for women who feel tired, worn out and want more energy, clarity and focus. When women take the time to regularly rest in all areas of their life, they will find their way back to freedom, joy and at home in their body. You will be able to take home these simple tools to practice rest in your life everyday.
For this experience, it is optional for you to bring a journal, something to write with and an eye-pillow. Wear cozy and comfortable clothes and socks. Cathy will have essential oils to complement this practice along with tea to enjoy before and after.
